Product Overview

The SMD-T is a vertical automated storage tower dedicated to SMD component reel management. It offers outstanding space efficiency, with the extended model capable of storing up to 1120 reels. It supports barcode and QR code recognition, automatic slot allocation, and real-time data synchronization with WMS, MES and ERP systems.
The system locks expired reels to avoid humidity-induced component defects. It supports trolley, drawer and AGV docking for flexible material handling. Applicable to line-side feeding and central material warehouses, this SMD storage tower enables lights-out production and maintains complete traceability of all reel inbound and outbound logs.

Application Description

1.SMT Line-side Automatic Storage
Placed beside mounters for on-time material supply. It batches reels per work orders and locks expired moisture-sensitive reels to avoid line downtime. Drawer, cart and AGV docking suit semi-auto & fully automatic workshops.
2.High-density Central SMD Storage
Vertical structure saves floor space: standard model holds 750 reels, extended version 1120 reels. It scans reel barcodes/QR codes in batches, auto-allocates slots and syncs real-time inventory data to WMS.
3.Lights-out Unmanned Material Management
AGV docking enables fully automatic reel transfer. Linked multi-towers support unified scheduling, with temp/humidity alarms and auto data backup for 24-hour unattended storage.
4.Multi-type Small-batch Electronics Production
Single reel access takes only 15s for frequent material changeovers. All in-out logs are saved, and code scanning enables fast reel search with full lifecycle traceability.
5.Automotive & Semiconductor Component Storage
It monitors MSD reel shelf life to prevent damp chip failure. Integrated with MES and mounters, it delivers complete batch traceability to meet strict industrial quality standards.
